The Maine Butterfly Survey was conducted between 2007 and 2016.  At this time, we are only accepting submissions (images or specimens) for rare or unusual species, state or federally listed species, new county records, or new state species records for Maine.  A site visit form has been provided for use with image or specimen vouchers in Word format (see Resources - MBS Field Forms).  We encourage people to post all other digital butterfly records to iNaturalist.  We review and add these records to the MBS database on an annual basis.
